tiger

Such a nice day with Jenny, an artist working with driftwood, papier mache and found objects.

We decorated papers to cover a very small (matchbox) cardboard 'shrine'.   The process involved a lot of glue.  Oh, sticky fingers!

only slightly larger that the real thing

work done, it was time for afternoon tea in the 'cottage' garden
climbing red roses, lilac and the herbaceous border blooming
to add to the summer day, swifts were swirling in the sky

to the market this morning for more plants, vegetables, herbs
and flowers     the weather looks good for the weekend, bliss

Haven't we been lucky the last few days, so much done in our new garden too. We have a very good nursery near us, I don't even want to think how much we spent there over the last 2 -3 weeks!
I like your little shrine :-)

I love your shrine! Can you tell me how you decorated the papers? I'd love to make one - and while I realize that I could cover mine with other things, I really, really like your papers!

Thanks Tiggy!
