The last Journal Quilt of the year


Winter Leaf

Discharged dyed cotton through
vilene stencil. Machine stitched
before the blue border was
rolled with white textile paint.

The back is equally good!

boy it sure is! I'm thinking of doing this next year, it seems a very rewarding excercise.

Go for it Lorie. What's to lose? It can drive you mad, but a good exercise trying out all those techniques we learn/read about. Some work and can be expanded on, whilst others - at least they are out of your head!

The two sided bit was unintentional, and, actually I really like the back. Nice to have an option!

Such a fabulous piece of art - I love it.
And DH has suddenly got a bee in his bonnet about going to India and taking the train to Jaipur - a post-retirement trip? Or sooner? Could a dream come true? Hope so!
